This was on the new house we bought but was undersized for home so I upgraded to a 22kw. Service guy said it had been maintained and fired up during weekly runs. Comes with transfer switch and rubber mat it sat on. Currently sitting in my garage.

    It’s natural gas only.

I tried to look up reviews and am not getting great info on what size home is ideal for this size generator. Any clue on how large of a house it is recommended for?

I'd imagine it all depends on exactly what's in your house that you are trying to run at the time? I know my wife wants to get one, but we about to move so I don't know what size we'll need in the new house yet.

^This. Depends on AC units- how many and what size. What appliances are gas vs electric... I'm assuming the people that lived here before me didn't run all appliances, lights at once during an outage. We've built houses for people that don't install the size needed to run everything at once to cut build cost. Just have to be conscious of what all is on during an outage if you go undersize.

The service guy told me but I can’t remeber exactly, it was right after the last hurricane hit BR. Found a copy of the work ticket. It has 75.2 hours on it.

Here is the online sizing guide for Generac:
    http://www.generac.com/for-homeowners/home-backup-power/build-your-generator

I almost said yes as this is a great deal! My home is a little over 2,000 SF and this bugger would work perfect if I only run one AC. Unfortunately, my home wiring is a hazard at best and I need to put in a new panel and redo a lot of the wiring first. I just bought a gas generator for temporary use and will probably just stick with that for a few more years until we have the money to properly rewire the house.

But thanks for the offer to LARC.

These can be run on propane too, you just need a carburetor conversion kit for it. I converted mine from NG to propane when I moved, since I don't have NG out in the woods where I live now.
