So, after 14 years or so, I’m done. I’m getting out of the hobby. I just don’t have as much time for it anymore so I’m selling out.

Up for sale is my 58 gallon Oceanic Reef Ready aquarium with custom built oak stand and canopy. Also included is a 29 gallon sump. In addition 2 Vortech MP10’s, the wireless ones which can be controlled together. I also have an Orphek Nilus LED lighting system with controller. This thing is a PAR monster. The controller allows programming and individual control of white and blue channels. This system also comes with a Quiet One return pump. I have also included an ASM G1x skimmer body. Unfortunately the pump locked up on it but the skimmer body is in great shape. All you need to do is purchase another Sedra 3500 and you’re ready to rock. This is pretty much a turn key setup with the exception of some minor accessories.

And the price, $600 for everything. I have tons more tied up in this setup but I’m moving on. My loss is your gain. This is a complete setup sale. I’m not parting it out. Everything goes. Pics to follow. I’m located in Monroe.

I used to have this same tank (pic below) - except my stand/canopy didn't look near as good. ;)

Miss this tank soooo much. Same footprint as a 40 breeder, but taller.

Beautiful setup man. Yeah it’s basically a 75 with a foot off the end. It’s really a great size tank.

That is a good deal you have there! I really want to get back to a tank that size again... I just cannot do it for some years to come.

Thanks. I’m just trying to get out with the least amount of headache. That’s why I priced it so low. No reason to haggle. I’m practically giving it away.

My first saltwater tank was an Oceanic 58. Mine was before reef ready tanks though. Another Oceanic 58 was also the first tank I ever saw with metal halide lighting back in the 80s. I can still remember how amazing it looked! It was at a LFS and Albert Thiel was there setting it up. It is a great size tank and one of my favorites. Great price for everything! Good luck with the sale!
