I've got a large rock with a big patch of green button polyps on it. Problem is they do not open when the lights are on. Are they sensitive to light? I've noticed the ones on the bottom of the rock are opened as they do not get direct light.

probably sensitive to lights, sometimes they'll adjust to the lights, is it a new peice or have u recently changed the lights? They may just need to get used to the lighting or you can move them to a place where the light doesn't directly hit em and see how they do there.

Same lights. I've just changes 4 of the 6 VHO's but they were not opening before the bulb replacement. Can't move the rock as it a large one in the center. Look below the blue tang. again at night they open fully. :?:
