yea if it is for pleasure then yes its a nice car with plenty of options to throw on some aftermarket parts to squeeze some more horsies out of it..but not really a family car

although they are pretty cool and with the turbo kit for them they can put out some crazy high HP numbers, i'm afriad i still think you can get more for your money in other cars.

with that being said... i got myself an 06 s2000. ive tested quite a few cars before making my decision.

before buying the thing, THE CAR had to fill a few criterias:
    1. Fun to drive
    2. Have curb appeal
    3. Handle like a dream w/o body roll
    4. Semi fuel efficient
    5. Coupe
    6. Ample weight/power ratio
    7. Form and Function
    8. Reliability
    9. Manual Transmission
    10. MISC

on my venture for a new car, i was able to test drive a muriad of cars.
    IN ORDER OF TEST DRIVE:
    infiniti g35coupe
    s2000
    350z
    mistubishi lancer evo
    subaru wrx sti
    m3
    corvette 04
    rx8
    lexus is250/350
    celica gts
    miata
    golf gti
    tsx
    tl
    rsx

and with that, here i am a proud new owner of a 2006 s2000

Really like the G35 & 350Z. How is the price compared to the S2000?

the infiniti was priced at about 5grand mroe than the s2k and the 350z about the same if i got all the options i wanted.

and that twinturbo setup for the g35 is a definite selling point, i just didnt feel comfortable shelling out 35grand+ on something that had more cheap plastic in it than pamela anderson lee.

  9. cool

I'm sure you'll be really happy with the s2k. I know some guys that own those and they absolutely love them. So what were your opinions on the M3?
    Curt

  10. i would have chosen the M3 personally. I like the inside better, and it has a hell of a lot more torque and power than the s2000
