Found something strange this morning, an Emerald crab upside down with no legs but still had its claws. I think its dead but hard to tell as it was way in the back and couldn't get to it this morning before work. Only fish in the tank are Mandarin Goby, Yellow Tang & Potters Angle. No idea what did this. Also it is the crab and not just a shell, not molted.

he might have got stuck and his legs got clipped. happened to my coral banded shrimp. the legs grow back fast. Mine grew back in 3 days.

My bet would be the hungry angel hitting on the crab after it had already met it's demise (which could've been for any reason including his time just ran out)

Well he's gone now. For about two weeks he was legless but still had his claws. Would stay upsidedown, then I would fip him over and right away start eating. He would move about the thank with only his claws but then the other day I found only parts of him --- RIP little Emerald :(
