Well, three things have happend since my last update, the Crocea Clam has died for unknown reasons, I added a small Carkii Clownfish, and I have begun feeding DT's Oyster Eggs and I am seeing drastic color change in my SPS, I'm lovin' it.

Very nice tank, I like its simplicity. Nothing to "OVER THE TOP", thats what I like. Great tank.

Well, if you don't count the custom stand, custom 250w DE MH pendant, and One-Of-A-Kind CLS, sure!

I checked for pyramid snails, but I didn't find any. It appears that the mantle rotted away from the bottum up.

    Travis,
Clean up that algae before you take a picture.
I'm glad you see an improvement on your coral since you started feeding them. Some phyto might have helped the clam.
    Gary,
Need me to set you up an appointment with the eye doctor? Ha Ha , I know I need one. Later Lonny

How long have you been feeding the oyster eggs? Do you attribute the increase in color to the eggs or do you think your tank is just settling in and hitting it's stride. Also, did the diatoms on the sand bed show shortly after starting the eggs or is that something that's always been there?

Oh, I forgot one other thing. What kind of light were you running before? Do you think that change brought on better color?

Well, I would think it is the Eggs because before I started feeding the eggs, i was getting little or no PE from my Purple Bonsai and the Slimer. Now I have ALOT of PE from both and their color has improved. It could also be a combonation of the two, Eggs and Maturity.

The diatoms have been going on long before i started to feed the Eggs, I just need to go and pick up a Conch and let him go to town on the diatoms lol. :)

Before I was running an AB10k, now I am running a Phoenix 14k. That may have contributed to the color.

Not sure exatcly which factor is contributing to this, but I ain't gonna change nothing lol, it's all going good.

Thanks for the response. I've come real close to trying the eggs but I always back off. Your tank looks great and the 'if it ain't broke approach' makes sense.

It's on the outside, not a speck of rust on it.
