o yah and the rock is not even close to that green...thats just what it looks like with the lights off and the flash of the camera.

  6. Looks like you've got everything you need in place. Give us a front FTS with the lights on. You're right about the green. You can tell in the side shot that there's not all that much algae in there. Otherwise, it looks like you'd need bout a dozen astrea's.

Funny how so many people have 5 month old tanks these days. :)

What's the pvc under the rock? Is that a rack or return flow?

The pvc under the rock was the out put of a pump but when i made the whole deal and reaquascaped i turned the pump on. it ran for a few minutes then just stopped. However, it is serving partially as a rack. Pic will be up in a sec.

just from lots of experience....i wouldn't add any sps until you start growing some coralline in the tank....... if it is there....it is hard to see in the pictures... i'm just trying to be honest and save you headaches......

yep coralline is everywhere in that tank except on the glass. It is just hard to see. My colors of corraline vary from a light pink to light purple to dark purple and a weird red. the rock is also covered with turqouise encrusting algae.
