Man, those secret service agents are looking a little rough these days!

jlouv - you flew him - way cool. 8) 8)
READ MY LIPS!! sweeeeet!!
where'd you have to fly them?
He could tell you, but then he'd have to kill you...
Did you slip him your resume? it would be killer to fly air force one.
i dont think former presidents get to fly airforce one when theyre out of office though. You''d have to ask him to forward it to ol junior there.
Yeah, Lacie is correct.....Security was suprisingly light. Only 3 secret service guys rode in the plane with us, but they were looking over our shoulders the whole time! Prior to the flight, they did do background checks on Harald and I <and they still let us fly him anyway!!> Harald is a former illegal alien!! He's from Holland and stayed long after his visa expired...he got a green card when he got married, but after sept 11, they would not let him go to flight training without a passport, so we called in some favors with Senator Breaux and got him on a fast track to be declared a citizen...
My story isn't as interesting, but there are more than a few skeletons in my closet!!
And it's not secret about the trip. We picked him up at College station, home of Texas A&M, where he lives. The picture of him getting off the plane was taken in lafayette where he gave a speech at Acadian Ambulance's annual paramedic luncheon and presented the award for the paramedic of the year. Afterwards, we dropped him off in Houston tx....
He's an extremely nice guy. He made time to talk to each and every one he came in close contact with. We hear the phrase "Thank you for a very nice flight" pretty often, but for some reason, it carried a bit more weight coming from him!!
Jared. That is COOL. I saw him once as he drove by at LSU but nothing personal like that. Some guys have all the fun.
Fly boy and get to meet ex-presidents what a life!!
so did you grease the landing or what...you know you were trying to fly as good as you can to show off
