It's all about the water. What salt will you be using? How are you going to put salt in the bottom tank? Space looks tight.

Don't make me build this thing for a 3rd time... haha.. Just made the switch to Tropic Marin Pro about a month or so ago.

Could use a flexible spout funnel or make one out of a large plastic throat funnel and a short piece of clear hose to fill the salt into the barrel for mixing. Seen that a few times on videos of other folks set ups

Not bad ideas. Will have to look into that!

One tablespoon at a time, that is the only way to ensure you get the salinity at exactly 35.000000 ppt

I actually did purchase this once to experiment with it, sadly was disappointed. Not a quality issue from what I remembered, just too small to be useful for its purpose. I also use more liquid supplements than salts.
