I really wanted to make the Coral Bash on Saturday, yet cannot go. After waking up this morning, I discovered my home fridge went out on me. Getting that fixed is taking all day. I already have two big commitments for Friday. A great deal of my work this week will have to get shifted to Saturday. I hate to be "wishy-washy," yet I will have to back-out from going. I hate that, but I need to cancel to keep my sanity

If someone wants to meet-up, I plan to go with my kids and a friend to the BR observatory on the 1st or 2nd Friday in November. Send me a PM.

On Friday, November the 4th, we plan to go to the Highland Road Park Observatory in Baton Rouge. I will take along at least 1 or 2 friends and 2 of my kids. The address is:

Could we please meet at the observatory at 6:45 or 7:00? It would be great if you and other LARC and BRK members cold come along to enjoy the observatory as well. There is a lecture starting at 7:30 and then some viewing after that until the place closes. It is FREE! I found out today the large telescope is strong enough to see the colors of Jupiter!

We will get together another time. It is probably best for you because traffic coming into Baton Rouge this weekend will be insane since LSU is playing Alabama.

The observatory will not have evening viewings this coming Friday and will not have such again on a Friday until December 2nd. That is when we plan to go to Baton Rouge if the weather is clear. If someone wants to meet at my place in Pineville or even in Lafayette, please let me know.

I decided to go slightly up on the technology and edit my photos to give prices for some of my coral that I fragged. I regret that I still cannot go to Baton Rouge for the observatory tomorrow evening. It will be cloudy. We are still holding out for the a clear Friday. We will see if Friday the 9th works-out.
