Correction: I can meet someone in Lafayette either Monday, Thursday, or Friday next week. Tuesday is now out. From late morning until 7 or 8:00 PM should work for any of those dates.
A Friday or Saturday trip to Baton Rouge next weekend (Dec 9th or 10th) does not look good because of bad weather for viewing. I may try to do the Dec 17 meeting at Coral Connection- especially if the weather is clear that day. There is an evening observatory viewing in BR that same evening. It may be difficult to drag the kids around for so much driving, yet I can try to make that work.

This is the mother toadstool that I cut frags from. The tips are florescent under blue light. Under strong natural light, the entire coral will turn a creamy yellow. I have 2 of these available for $15 each.

I updated the prices and availability on the 1st post of this thread.
I plan to be in the Baton Rouge area on the 16th of this month (January). I am planning this on MLK Day because the kids will be out of school. Please PM me with a plan if someone wants to meet.
Unless someone wants to help with the coral acclimation process at the Blue Zoo Aquarium starting at 10:00 AM, I will likely not be available to meet at the mall until about lunch time. We plan to go to Coffee Call in the early afternoon.

Dang work!! That sounds like fun acclimating coral at a zoo! I'm over in lake charles but would love to scoop up some corals one day soon. I'm down for a road trip doesn't matter where to me but I'm only off on weekends. Just getting back in hobby after Laura pounding us.
I would love to have you over if you can ever make it to my area. Saturdays are best. I also looking forward to a Lafayette trip next month.

Sounds fantastic. I've purchased from VU before over in moss bluff. But I haven't talked to him or Cody from sulphur since the storm. I need to link back up with those guys and see how their tanks fared through the storm. I'll pm you soon and we can work out the details. I'll keep watching this thread as well.
