Hey there folks. It has been quite a while since time first got in the way of tank. I let a mature softie reef go for a little too long and watched my setup go from great to gah:(
In any event I'm getting jazzed up again now that I did a little remodel to design a better spot for my new system. Withe the new tank in a more prominent location, I'm sitting and looking at it now instead of just passing through the room where it lived. What a refreshing fix.
Anyway, gone is the 75 display, gone is the 40g seagrass/lagoon, gone is the 25 gallon rubble reef, gone is the diy plywood and liner sump. And so to it seems gone are the leaks and complexity of plumbing the whole lot together.
And here, hopefully to stay, is nearly a cubic yard of water in the general shape of a 36 x 36 x 30 reef tank. Plenty of room to grow is the hope.
