Here are a few photos I took through my telescope last night. Hope yall enjoy. A few shots of Jupiter and Saturn. Saturn is on the left and in one photo you can see 3 moons of Jupiter, if you zoom in on this photo, you can very slightly see the rings around Saturn. I could see them through the scope but couldn't get it to focus. Also have a few bonus shots of the moon.

The first photo is the one that you can see the rings if you zoom in and look good

Crazy that this only happens very few times. Last time was 400 years ago I believe is what I read and the next time it will happen will be much sooner around 2080 then not again for another couple hundred years.

You're welcome bro. Actually its more like 800 years. Lol. Hopefully all goes well and I'll be here in 2080 and I can see it twice in my lifetime.

This is what we saw looking through the lens but couldn't get a photo. If you wouldn't mind can you find out what telescope they were using. I'm wanting to buy a new one and trying to get recommendations.

My children would have that opportunity, me well lets just say that I would be in the extremely low percentile to make it to such age.

I'll ask but it's 50/50 whether I get a straight answer.

I wish I had a telescope!! I was only able to see it by eye. I’m glad y’all got a close up!!

My house is unfortunately a poor area to observe anything. The neighborhood is choked full of live oaks so viewing anything 15 degrees or below is impossible. So, I grabbed m binoculars to walk over to the levee, that is only 700-ft away...and binoculars are broken. These were really nice binoculars too. Pretty upset about that. I have tried to correct it, but there seems to be an internal piece broken that his not holding one of the internal glass correctly.
