So I am starting a tank with no sand or rocks. I am cycling about 5 lbs of rock pieces. Was thinking to get a media block since they are engineered to be very porous.

anything other than brightwell blocks? should I just crush up more dry rock?

It’s a lowboy frag tank no sand or rock in the display. But depending how big the sump is I was going put blocks and rock rubble

Nice! Look forward to seeing the build. I would use some of the marinepure blocks as GOB mentioned. Looked into getting some in the past but never pulled the trigger.
