Started feeding a bit. I have left over RedSea ABplus. Also using AZ coral booster, coral frenzy. Yes I am keeping and eye on phosphates.

finally have my Alk pretty stable at 9.8. Little high for my taste but looking for stability right now. This is my first CARX and can't wait to see how my corals react.
I just saw this.....that is a lot of alkalinity - plenty for everyone! ':hype:'

And like that alk at 9.1.
So you dropped 0.7 dkh in only 2 days? You have some growing frags. I never fully understood CaRxs, do you increase the feed rate? What pH are you holding the media, and what media are you using?

Tanks at 8-8.2 ph the carx is about 6.55ph and I’m dosing 10ml hr.

I do need to see what the dkh is of the effluent

But yes this was over 4-5 days drop.

6.55 seems a little on the low side. Since you are already there, I would slightly increase the flow rate. Did you get a chance to measure alkalinity on the effluent? Do you know the current flow rate through the reactor?

Yea one.. was putting plumbing on. Put glue and went to push lifted tank and came down so stress at one of those steps cracked the bottom.

Things happen in this hobby that make us invent new languages sometimes.
We have all been there and if not then those who haven't will be one day LOL
