Starting a new chapter in life, so I might as well start a new build. Water box 3620 is a true blessing. Let the games begin!!

The tank is up and filled. Running smoothly with the BEER CHEST HANDLE lol
Kessil A360x 3d printed bracket will be hanging from that. It’s the Ecotech bar. The Kessils have the Wi-Fi dongle as well as the Spectral controller. Vectra return pump is so silent it’s nonexistent! I’m thinking 2 MP40s also. Maybe not. I am going mostly lps and softy. Maybe a monti or two.

MP10s would likely suffice and save you some change.

Will they old on to have 1/2 inch glass?

That I couldn't say. Surprised that tank is 1/2.

MP10s will not do 1/2" glass. I don't recall their limit, buy my Marineland 110g was too thick. I would be very surprised if your tank was 1/2" glass, but perhaps it is since it is rimless.

I vote for some Tunze Turnbelle powerheads. I find those to be much more reliable than MP10s or MP40s.

True, after Ida, I gave one of my MP40's away and through the other one in the trash. I am going back with Tunze Turbelle's (Streams) anyway. The MP40's were frequently jamming up and requiring cleaning. The most annoying thing is they don't sense the jam like advertised and instead when they jam, they torque up and the wet sides throw themself across the tank. My tank is 30" deep, so retrieving them is a big deal. F that. I had Streams before Vortechs and am going back to Streams.

What are you thinking about fish wise?

I definitely want a Midas blenny in there. A coral beauty and a fairy wrasse and fathead anthias are all on the list

Looking good!

I still recommend (2) Nero 5s. I eliminated using the mp10s due to glass thickness and mp40s due to cost, heavy flow rate & dry side thickness.
I would like try those Nero powerheads. I heard those can suck-in fish. Was that the first model? Doesn't it have a sufficient enough cage to keep the fish getting chopped-up?? I wonder if the speed can always be set slower, especially when they start back up after a feeding cycle.

They’re programmable, maybe just not quite to that degree.

They do come with optional inflow screens that would protect against all but the smallest of fish.. I didn’t have any fish issues with them in a years time.

Just a few quick shots while cleaning this morning! Diatoms are going. Need a conch or three! Evo inhabitants happy and doing well. And the added fire shrimp and skunk cleaner shrimp are VERY personable! BRS titanium heater with InkBird temp controller in sump.
