Ammonia 8 after 50% water change. Can’t get more water till next month when I get paid. All fish and most inverts dead. Some coral there.

Again!Do you know what happened? I once had a mass die-off of inverts like that, but caught it in-time and saved the fish. To this day I never determined what happened but my wife and I suspect the kids were overzealous on cleaning up something nearby and got Lysol or some other disinfectant into the tank....wiped out the bacteria, then the micro inverts....which I had a ton, and then it took out the macro inverts and corals. My tank never truly recovered, although oddly gorgonia were never effected.
So are you buying the RODI water?

I think I got some bug spray in the tank. That’s the only thing I can think of. The sump looks amazing strangely.Oh

As bad off as the ammonia was, and seeing you still have Nitrites, I would suggest picking up a Seachem Ammonia Alert Badge.
