How often does everyone clean their pumps?

Generally, clean mine around Black Friday when I get new UV bulbs but got a wild hair and decided to clean all of them today. Went to take apart the skimmer pump and realized I had never cleaned it since installing it back in March 2020. Impeller was pretty much solid with limpet shells and the orange gunk. Got a pretty impressive foam head going after cleaning.

I try for once a year maybe a little longer. When I do get in the mood I clean them all. Probably should set reminders to do it more often though, as it is pretty nasty when I do.

Normally clean my return pump once per year and skimmer as well.
Sometimes I will do them twice in a year depending on conditions of the sump.

When the tank crashes and I have to do a reset. Last run on the Iwaki went 4 years I think.

I try for 2-3x yearly, but what actually happens is only once per year.
