My original thoughts where since the clown goby had not touched my Monti or Bird's nest that it would be fine. Nope!heard they can cause damage to SPS coral. It never cause damage to your other SPS prior?
I agree with that knowledge. That was my plans in general. I wanted a Montipora tank with some birdnest so she could have a natural habitat. I had read that as long as the colony is big enough it could withstand the picking. She started going after the LPS, the Monti, the Acros. IDK.I recall that clown goby's naturally inhabit acro colonies. I suspect that in the wild the colonies are large enough the mitigate the nuisance. In our tanks though, the colonies are much smaller and it results similar to a clown trying to host a LPS.
