I plan to let mine grow up the back glass. I find these stay put when they get attached. Do you think either your flow or lighting could be too high where you are trying to mount it on the main aquascape?

This would be my thought process as well since they are mobile and will seek areas of light and flow that suits them best.

Here are some of tonight's pics from the cube tank on the left in the sunroom. I guess the duncan coral on the bottom at the front is a bit upset and closed-up after I cleaned the glass.

Here are 3 pics from the frag tank to the right. I will try to take a whole pic shot and more close-ups tomorrow. The frag tank has some uglies due to some dark algae; however, I am starting to doubt if it is the turf algae type. It still has not developed that dense carpet-like fuzz yet. I was able to scratch some of it off with a fingernail. I hope the new jellybean slugs eat it.

This is the frag tank after a big clean up. I will likely start to transition this tank into more of a display rank rather than this messy frag tank look it has now. I will grow some of these corals into larger colonies.

I recently got a small starry blenny. It was treated with the therapeutic levels of copper and then praxipro before I put it in the 34 gallon frag tank.

The blenny is very shy when I go to feed the tank. The other tankmates (2 o. clowns & 2 PJ bottom cardinalfish) are not agressive. It took almost 7 days before I could see the blenny at all. It looks very healthy. I have had it for 13 days now and it continues to hide when I feed the other fish. It comes out when I sit accross the room. I rather have a docile fish instead of bully. I hope it stays that way as it gets larger. So far, I am pleased with this fish.

I have a good bit of GHA and film algae in the tank. It may not be that hungry for this reason, yet I would like to see it eventually eat some of the PE mysis pellets that I feed to the other fish.

I am very happy there is no evidence of this fish nipping at coral in the frag tank.

I did a large water change using my shop vac to clean out the middle section of my sump. I also took this plastic mesh basket out to clean it. I made the basket with flexible, plastic craft mesh and zip ties. This was my attempt to help contain the chaeto better. It has been working OK.

I have 2 layers of mesh on top of a Pyrex container full of Miracle Mud below the chaeto basket. I am using some large frag disks to keep the screen weighed down.
